Trio Agora is a dynamic ensemble quickly establishing itself as a leader in its genre. Praised for its innovation and enthusiasm, Trio Agora was the 1st prize winner of the 2018 Rubinstein chamber music competition in Düsseldorf, Germany and was a finalist in the Ton & Erklärung and the Ysaÿe competitions (2021). The trio regularly commissions new works and performs self-made transcriptions, in addition to bringing the standard repertoire to stages around Europe.

Its first album, "Youth," was released in 2017. This recording focused on early works of Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Mendelssohn, and Debussy. A second album, “Connecting Identities” was released by Odradek Records in November 2020, with sponsorship by the AGATA Foundation, Lithuanian Council for Culture and an anonymous donor. In 2022 the trio received a grant from Neustart Kultur (Germany) to record a third album dedicated to the history and spread of the tango throughout the 19th and 20th centuries, which will be released in May 2023 with ACCENTUS. Dedicated to pedagogy, the Trio is Ensemble in Residence at the National Students’ Academy (NMA) in Lithuania since 2018, working closely with Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla.

The ensemble performs regularly in Lithuania, Germany, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Hungary and Spain, in music series such as the ENSEMS contemporary music Festival, the Mecklenburg-Vorpormmern Festspiele, Amici della Musica Firenze and Le Strade D’Europa, performing halls such as the Kaunas Philharmonic hall and the Budapest Music Center.

The ensemble seeks interaction with its audience, reviving the dialogue, creativity, and interpersonal connection at the origin of chamber music. Based in Berlin, Trio Agora recently completed a Masters degree with the highest distinction, studying with Eberhard Feltz and Martin Spangenberg. Previous mentors include Heime Müller and Sabine Meyer.

Its founding and current members are Žilvinas Brazauskas (clarinet), Natania Hoffman (cello), and Robertas Lozinskis (piano).
